SATIB24 Crisis Call is a 24 hour emergency call service that manages guest related accidents and incidents.
Typical examples of emergency incidents are:
  • the sudden onset of potentially serious illness
  • an accident resulting in serious injury
  • an assault, rape, kidnap or other crime that threatens life or well being
  • exposure to blood, poisons or other hazardous materials
  • a fire or other natural disaster
The emergency call will be answered by a trained wilderness medical doctor who will access the situation and activate the appropriate action to be taken.
Note that this is a value-added service for which guests are
not charged 		This seal of approval certifies
that the bearer holds *certificate/s of insurance issued by Safari & Tourism Insurance Brokers (SATIB) and certain Lloyd's of London Underwriters , which comply with the European Community Directive (90/314/EEC) and carry the following cover levels:

Public Liability - ZAR5 million / incident / occurance AND Professional Indemnity - ZAR1 million / incident / occurance

Our trip was fantastic !  We feel we've seen an awful lot in 2 weeks. 

Namibia: loved Swakopmund - went quadbiking, dune climbing and boat trip.  Only 21 degres there, which was very pleasant. We were very impressed with the Boutique Hotel - very very nice. Had dinner in their restaurant on Christmas eve which was excellent.  The Namib Desert Lodge at Sesriem was very nice too.  Nice room with a view and 2 swimming pools to keep the girls happy ! The 7 hour journey to get to Aus offered the most amazing panoramas. We loved the lodge in Aus and its brightly coloured chalets. Wished we had an extra night there to enable us to go to Luderitz. Saw the desert horses and had a lovely walk in the mountains. Beautiful setting.    Canon Lodge was a very original place - simple rooms but food was great. good place to explore the canyon.

Glad we had 4x4.  The stony/gravelled roads would have been a bit challenging in a conventional car and uncomfortable !

Hallo daar

Happy New Year - hoop jou Festive Season was great en dat die Nuwe jaar net mooi en exciting goed gaan bring.

Ek skryf net vinnig om dankie te se vir die heerlike trippie Namibia toe wat jy vir my bymekaar gesit het. Alles het soos 'n bom geloop en die plekke waar ons gebly en gekamp het was op die standaard waaraan ek gewoond geraak het van Jambo. Ek sal wragtag niemand anders gebruik as ek so iets doen nie. Dis nou die derde ding wat julle vir my doen en ek is regtig happy met alles.

Een klein nota vir julle rekords - die kampeerterrein in Khorixas is nie meer so hot nie - besig om ietwat vervalle te raak. Daar is however great plekke met kampeerterreine net 10km verder - dalk nie 'n slegte idee om daarna te kyk nie.

Weereens dankie en mooi gaan.

We are back, in one peace. had our share of exitement, one tyre burst, on flat, lost our back window exct.

Thank you for excellent service, all our bookings was super. Desert Camp at Sossuvlei is an absolute jewel, and the Nest was a huge surprise on the sea. 

We enjoyed Namibia so much, for sure we will go back.

Thanx again for your help, for sure all our travel arrangements will go throug Jambo.
