With its tropical marine climate, you can relax on the talcum-powder beaches lapped by topaz waters and backed by lush hills and big glacis boulders. No wonder this is a top choice for newlyweds, with such a dreamlike setting. Seychelles also offers a number of high-energy distractions for those looking for more than a suntan. Go on a jungle or coastal walks, boat excursions, or go diving and snorkeling to keep you buzzing. With the islands rich history and culture, magnificent beaches and flora and fauna it is a must see place.

Highlights Include
  • La Digue: Made up of 100 islands, La Digue is one of the most picturesque. Bathe on white sands beneath eerie granite rock formations at Anse Source d’Argent and try to spot the extremely rare black paradise flycatcher at Veuve Reserve.
  • Scuba Diving: The clear waters of the Seychelles are perfect for scuba diving. The granite plateau is what makes Shark Bank arguably the best diving spot. The granite plateau acts as a shelte  for a dazzling array of marine life, from huge grey stingrays and gaping Napoleon fish to pulsating shoals of bright tropical fish and even the odd whale shark – the biggest fish in the sea.
  • Praslin: This is one of the two islands in the world ehere you can find the Coco de Mer palm tree. Visit Vallée de Mai nature reserve to witness this rare tree with its odd-shaped nuts. It also has the largest seed in the plant kingdom.
  • Morne Seychellois National Park: On the main island of Mahé’s lies the Morne Seychellois National Park. Take a hike in the thick coastal mangroves and woodland, to the top of the Morne Seychellois at 905m.
  • Victoria market: In the islands capital you can enjoy this bustling market, and experience the local culture. From fresh fruits, local spices to souvenirs.
  • Aldabra Giant Tortoise: See the giant tortoise, averaging some 120cm in length, once thought to be extinct, but today you can see this magnificent animal at the Aldabra Atoll. Witness the Aldabra Atoll, a Unesco world heritage site, is the world’s largest raised coral atoll.
  • Big Game Fishing: The fish in the Seychelles aren’t just for looking at, you can go big-game fishing here too. Just offshore the ocean floor plummets by thousands of metres so these are rich grounds for deep sea and bottom fishing and you could catch tuna, snapper, grouper and even marlin.
