  • Le Morne Brabant: Locate in the South of the island. Visit the World Heritage site, Le Morne Mountain, a single peak encapsulating so much of Mauritius’ history in it. The mountain was the place, for slaves, to escape from their masters. See all the viewpoints over the west coast of the island and over the southern part of the island.
  • Black River Gorges National Park: Stretching over 6574 hectares of incredible native forests and wildlife, covering 3.5% of Mauritius’ land area and including a range of ecosystems. Enjoy a variety of hiking trails in this dense forest. Get swept away by a set of panoramic views of the island’s landscape, including vistas, gorges, peaks and waterfalls.
  • Chamarel: Located in the district of Savanne you will find the small village of Chamarel.  You will have the chance to visit the beautiful places in its vicinity; the Chamarel Falls and the ‘Seven Coloured Earth’. The Chamarel Falls are as impressive a waterfall as you’ll find anywhere. The ‘Seven Coloured Earth’ is an impressive sand dune made up of different distinct colours including reds, browns and purples. A magnificent phenomenon that wil leave you with your mouth open.
  • Pamplemousses Botanical Garden: The Garden covers 60 acres of land and features a number of varieties of palm trees. Its giant lily ponds with tadpoles and frogs, fruit bat trees with bats hanging from the branches, and lakes with giant turtles and fishes are a few of the Gardens unique features.
  • Iles Aux Cerfs: A large outer isle of Mauritius, Iles Aux Cerfs is located off its East Coast. Explore its spectacular white sandy beaches, palm trees and waters of all shades of blue. This remains one one of the main attractions of the island.
  • La roche qui pleure /Le Souffleur: This is just simply an amazing and inspiring place. Unique big waves crash against the volcanic cliffs. You must experience the breathing sound of the rocks, due to the rocks being porous, at every backslash; you can hear the rocks breathing.
  • Grand Bassin: An extinct volcano, now a lake high up in the mountains. This is the most sacred Hindu place on the island of Mauritius. On the spot you will be able to visit a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
