After a great visit to Zimbabwe where I visited so many amazing places and met so many amazing people I feel humbled and decided to try and not complain again about anything for a while. Everyone in Zimbabwe is so positive and going the extra mile to provide a great service and keep surprising us even though the country and all the people are going through such a difficult time at the moment.. From fishing in Chikwenya, to cruising on a houseboat on lake Kariba, to canoeing and white water rafting on the mighty Zambezi and all the amazing birds and game we saw in between, I had the best time. The tourism industry and people on the ground certainly need tourists to keep them going and they are making sure to provide and sometimes over provide in order to give us value for money and making sure we are going home saying "I didn't have enough time, I wanted to do more!" And more often than I can even tell you, I couldn't stop the word "WOW" from coming out of my mouth.
