Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is situated on top of a hill approximately 55-km south west of Kariba town. With the Zambezi escarpment as its backdrop, the well-known Bumi Hills Safari Lodge overlooks the foreshore below and the vastness of Lake Kariba. Your transfer to Bumi Hills is by light aircraft and takes approximately one hour from Victoria Falls. Each of the 20 bedrooms has a view of the lake and game can be seen grazing on the shoreline below the Lodge. The public areas include a lounge, a snooker room a cocktail bar overlooking the lake and a dining room. Magnificent vistas of the lake can also be seen from the spa.
All 20 front facing rooms (8 standard rooms, 2 deluxe room and 10 suites) have a bath / shower, overhead fan, air-conditioning and a balcony or verandah. AC power is only available in the suites.
The Lodge offers a variety of activities which include game viewing by open safari vehicle, on foot accompanied by a professional guide and by boat. The sunset cruise provides guests with wonderful photographic opportunities especially of the famous Kariba sunsets.

There are daily 1 – 1 ½ hour flights from Victoria Falls airport to the Bumi Hills airstrip (COORDINATES - S16°48” E28°20” -1200m long) which are scheduled to connect with all regional flights out of Victoria Falls airport. There is a maximum baggage allowance of 10 kg per person on the flights between Victoria Falls and Bumi Hills Safari Lodge. Lock-up facilities are available at our Victoria Falls office for excess luggage.
