SATIB24 Crisis Call is a 24 hour emergency call service that manages guest related accidents and incidents.
Typical examples of emergency incidents are:
  • the sudden onset of potentially serious illness
  • an accident resulting in serious injury
  • an assault, rape, kidnap or other crime that threatens life or well being
  • exposure to blood, poisons or other hazardous materials
  • a fire or other natural disaster
The emergency call will be answered by a trained wilderness medical doctor who will access the situation and activate the appropriate action to be taken.
Note that this is a value-added service for which guests are
not charged 		This seal of approval certifies
that the bearer holds *certificate/s of insurance issued by Safari & Tourism Insurance Brokers (SATIB) and certain Lloyd's of London Underwriters , which comply with the European Community Directive (90/314/EEC) and carry the following cover levels:

Public Liability - ZAR5 million / incident / occurance AND Professional Indemnity - ZAR1 million / incident / occurance

ACCOMMODATION

 

Affordable accommodation with 7(seven) quaint rustic thatched twin bed en-suite chalets with uninterrupted views over a wide expanse of the Zambezi River.  We also offer 4(four) self-catering units comprising of two and three bedrooms, bathroom and kitchenette.

 

CAMPING

 

A shady camping area with 3 ablution blocks, hot and cold water, and wash-up facilities.  Braai and power points are also available – generator 220 volts AC and all chalets and camping area use standard South African 3 point plugs.

 

FACILITIES

 

Swimming Pool, Restaurant, Conference facility,  Silumba Bar, Shop with basic provisions,  Thatched dinning area, bar, swimming pool, curio shop.

Fishing/Angling from well equipped boats (rods and fishing tackle available), Walking Trails, bird watching, Visit local African Village, Quad biking, sunset cruises, special packages and excursions can be arranged on request, transfers on request
